alphaferrets 3 tank setup

Finally getting posting pix down again-here is my simple setup-

the main tank-46 bow w/t5 lighting

4-16-10fishtank013.jpg
sump-octo150nw skimmer/heaters/return pump(mag) bagged carbon for now

fuge w/ lr and chaeto-hightower snail-simple HD light

the 46 bow is from Fairmount water gardens/the sump is a 29 gal I believe and the fuge is an old shop tank from the pet pals days-it had a hole already drilled so I made it into an overflow-both the main tank and the fuge gravity fed into the sump

flame finned tang-very cool fish & suitbale for smaller tank sizes-eventually i want to go to a 90 or 75. He'll like that!

It's weird-on the camara these shots look crappy but on the computer screen much better-except i see everything in my tank that I want to fix, If that makes sense.

Did you move them to a different album in photobucket? If you do that or delete them there, the link gets broken.

american dj outlet strip-makes it real easy to identify different electrical items in the sump/fuge/dt.

highly reccomended.

it does make simple cleaning and other chores more easily done. Like cleaning skimmer etc.

I also use 2 of the switches to alternate the current in my fuge-everytime I turn my ph(s) off and on the direction of the current goes to the opposite side keeping detritus in the water column instead of building up on the bottom of the tank. The switches are in a heavily traveled area for me so they switch quite often. Plus you get 8 outlets which most multi plug in don't give you. For a smaller set up like mine it works out well.
