Yeah, Mark told me that when things didn't go well on one of my orders, too. Very frustrating. I wonder how many people have ordered and never received their DVDs?
The DVD is the "director's cut," and includes scenes that eventually get cut for the TV version. Great stuff.
...And of course, it was filmed prior to my cancer diagnosis, so you'll be entertained how different I looked back then.
You'll also be entertained by my "then-girlfriend" who is diving with us and ends up looking like a dufus.
Kym calls her "Ducky" because of a split-second shot in the film where she turns upside-down, sticks her fins in the air and never sinks. She tries to swim down, but supposedly there was a bubble in her drysuit that prevented her from being able to dive.
The truth is that she was seeing several other men at the time (nice!) and didn't want to be seen on TV with the guy she was supposed to be in a relationship with. She was afraid that one of her other boyfriends would see the show, and, knowing who I was, put two and two together that she was lying and wasn't single.
Maybe some other time over some beers I'll share with you all of the crap she pulled on that shoot to try to sabatoge it. She got to be really unpopular pretty quickly - as she always did in groups.
I think that if Kym ever found her in a dark alley, she'd kill her. Seriously.
I'm just glad I've got my girl now - I wish I'd known her then... I'd have invited her instead of the drama queen.
Anyway, have fun watching the show... It's great.
