I spent some time this weekend gluing corals to the rock stack. I still have tons of frags to put in place. Hope to get them all up off the sand bed in the next few weeks...

Really nice setup, I wish I had more room for a longer tank. I like the huge shoal of fish you have going there. This will be amazing when it all grows in.

Thanks Fish Buddies

Dave looking awesome glad you are back in the game and having fun with those new stonies that will be sweet colonies someday. : ).

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

This weekend I will have the two 45 gallon cube tanks plummed and in place. I also fixed the leak in my calcium reactor so that should go online as well!

I look forward to growing these corals as large as possible! Reef on friends! Reef on! :bounce3:

WOW !! Very nice !!!!!! I am in the planning stages to set up 2 tanks (60 gallon each) as well for water changes, and I like your idea of running tank water thru one, then isolating and dumping it and pumping in the new mixed water, and opening it back up. That would really help me in adding to the total gallons of my system. Can you elaborate a little on the plumbing for me? Is it plumbed from the sump and pumped back in? I really tried to figure it out in your pic, but I was distracted by all the frags !!!!

Thanks, and it looks like I'm going back to the drawing board on mine.... but thats ok cause I think you helped me do it a little better !

Thanks for checking out the water change system...It makes changing 100 gallons very easy!

I feed the 100 gallon barrel on the left from a manifold fed by the hammerhead skimmer pump. It then has an overflow that overflows back into the sump through a filter sock along with all the drains from the equipment from the filter room. Ill take some pics and post them here shortly...

troyholl - Thanks! I would still like to come see your system sometime. You are always welcome to come see mine in person next time you head south. ;)

Here is a picture showing the feed and return to the flow through barrel. The top 1/2" valve feeds the barrel. The 3/4" drain is lower on the side of the barrel. The bottom valve feeds the frag and quarantine tanks I just installed this weekend. Here are a few pictures of the new holding tanks while the glue is drying.

Ca reactor on then off again...

Ca reactor on then off again...

So I fired up the calcium reactor only to have it leak again from the 1/2" threads that go through the cylinder bottom wall of the second chamber. I hit them with Weld-on 16 a few times now so next step is to grind out the Weld-on on try to get it sealed again.
