Anderson Family Reef - 1200 Gallon System

Surprised I could be rocking some LED's?

I have all the 400's and T5's so it may be a repeat of the big dog... We will see!!!

I am a firm believer that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This just happened to me a while ago. I got a frag from a guy who has his main tank lit with LEDs and when I took the frag home and placed it under my 400W Ushios it turn brown and later eventually died(prolly my fault).

Good point! I should try and duplicate the lighting I have in the main system so the frags make a smooth transition!!! :fish2:

My buddy Cliff's frag tank...same dimensions as the one I'm building

Wait... another empty tank?? Where is the water? I know there is a water restriction... but really??

Provo... I like that area... I like SLC too.

Isn't the water out your front door salinity correct for the tank?

It's close, up there in the great salt lake! We can collect live brine shrimp a few times a year...free fish food! Can't complain!

Next time you are in town I'll take you on a reef tour of all the sweet local reefers tanks! :wavehand:

Nice.... Thanks!

I will see how the travel plans are.. I am unsure about this year though.

That true you should try to replicate your DT light BUT its just a waste of fixture because its only 12" i would go with T5
