Anderson Family Reef - 1200 Gallon System

Amazing video as always. Just curious, why does it take 3-4 weeks for the tank to cure? Is it the silicone that you're using?

Out of curiosity who built the 750 for you? Did you build it yourself?

I opted for purchasing the large display from a company out of Arizona that is no longer in business, *******.

I have way better tank building skills now so maybe my next large tank I will build!

Thanks for asking!:fish1:

Thanks buddy, I hope your knee is getting better!

Yes, the silicone Eric uses for his tanks is not UV cured but is cured in a temperature and humidity controlled environment helping it "cure better"...well that's what I am told and have bought into! :reading: Eric makes a great tank so I'm on board with his technique...

This is why I have to add the new frag tank...and yes that blue is really that blue on those stags...beautiful!!!

The blue tang does the only fragging in the big tank unless corals are growing into each other and battling. Now I will have a sweet place to grow them all out! ;-)

If you ever sell your FRAGs, you can get more money from them since they were Fragged by a blue belly hippo tang :-)

I can't seem to chop up my display either. I do this so I can enjoy it. We get enough of it growing into each other.

Your tanks looking beautiful...I've always liked 2 sided viewing panels. You avoided the typical fruit stand display and you really have 3 different tanks..Not to mention there is no back to maintain or collect detrius, and no messy cords running alone the side or back.

OH and the frags on the sea-swirl return line - Great idea. I am sure they are loving the awesome ride.

Thank you Ashish! I too love the three sided viewing of our reef tank! It stays clean and I can see all of the spots that could collect uneaten food and waste.

Thought it was a good idea to try some acros on the sea swirls...

Thanks for your feedback!
