Anderson Family Reef - 1200 Gallon System

Auto Top Off

Auto Top Off

dca22anderson, I bought an ATO from AvastMarineWorks and it hooks up directly to your Apex system. They also have other items for DIYer's....check them out if you already have not, I think you will like what you find. I love your system by the way....tons of inspiration for my next build. Never stop reefing!!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback!

I like Avast actually and looked into their media reactors! Ill check out their top off equipment.

Thanks for the support and encouragement!

Hummm.. I saw one of mine knock out a perfectly good/moving snail two days ago.

It was a blue legged hermit.

Anyone have a good suggestion for a top off pump for the system?

I have an Apex that I can leverage to help with the process.

My gravity feed from the 100 gal RO/DI barrel doesn't provide enough pressure at its current height and I don't really want to raise it higher...

I just use a float and gravity and manually fill 20 gallon tub every few days. This way I know I will never fresh water tank

You are right Wayne he is pimping that new shell like he owns all 1200 gallons! :beachbum:

HAHAHAHA

You need to get him some females so that he can sit on the corner and take care of business.

You are really doing good so far and keeping my motivation up, too. Even though I had a cracked sump, yesterday, motivation helps!

Thanks!

Now we need to work on Wayne.
