Thanks for checking out the water change system...It makes changing 100 gallons very easy!
I feed the 100 gallon barrel on the left from a manifold fed by the hammerhead skimmer pump. It then has an overflow that overflows back into the sump through a filter sock along with all the drains from the equipment from the filter room. Ill take some pics and post them here shortly...

Just read the whole thread from the start, what a great build, I'm looking to set up my 300 this winter and this has got me thinking.. Did the last power head additions help enough to keep the sand bed cleaner by not allowing waste to settle or was is something else. Keep up the great work. I have a 90 and 150 going now and had to install a whole house dehumidifier to kept the humidity down.

Well the clown is the Sohal's cousin so his behavior isn't a shocker. I heard where if the ORP was low that is why clowns pass. Its not written in stone but I hear that alot along with Achilles too.

ScottMcN1- that's great news... I'll post some pics if I decide that the salt creep bugs me on the Ca reactor and I want to fix it again.
troyholl- come over any time! I was down doing the Utah County store tour this past Saturday as well. I grabbed a sweet acropora colony from Brandon at his new store.
gtaylor67- thanks for checking out my build! I love the 300 gallon size tank. Not too big not too small! I just added a ton of SPS and wanted to mix up the flow a little more. I alternate each pump every 60 minutes on my apex and it has made a huge difference in polyp extension and growth of the corals. Each pump does 4k GPH.

Looking good. I never really paid attention to the actual size of your sump but that thing is pretty impressive.

Newbie Aquarist - Thanks man! It's 360 gallons and has a working volume of about 220 gallons. It was fun to build and can hold all the overflow from all the filter components when the power fails. I also use it to acclimate new fish for a few weeks before introducing them into the show tank... :beer:

Newbie Aquarist - Yes, that's true but it makes managing this sized system much easier! 270 gallons of sump/fuge isn't that shabby either buddy! :beer:
