I have 2 RBTA turning more pink, any guess on causes. Lighting is goodish (overdrive T-5), don't feed alot could be chemistry but no other specimen (rics, zenia, LPS)nothing else is lacking, any suggestions?
Thanks

How long have you had it?

Have you changed the lighting recently? If not, how old are your bulbs, and what exactly do you have?

What are your water parameters --- with numbers.

Bulbs are 4 months old (Blue+, aquasun& actinic+) 39W overdriven with IC 660. I willrun water tests today and get back with data. Hate to see it fade, use to be a center peice.

Do you have access to a par meter? Do you konw exactly how long your bulbs will last overdriven? Or atleast when do they begin to shift spectrum.

his signature says 50 gallon

50 gall reef, Blue +, aquasun& pure actinic overdriven w/ IC 660
pulled tha actinic + and put in another blue+ for higher PAR
could not find Nitrate and Phos kit
Alk 7.4 dkH
CA 390
pH 8.2
Sal 1.025
temp 82

Have a small patch of red slime so Pho could be creeping, have a fuge & Protein skimmer is running & cheato is growing and Zenia is thriving.
Been feeding mix of Rods food, Krill, Mysis & Cyclopeez

I'm going to guess not enough lighting. You're running a lot of blue light, which makes the tank look good, but is not the best photosynthesis. I would get some 10K lighting in there or better yet 6500K if you can stand how yellow that is.

Are you feeding the anemone at all?
