Anemone acclimation

How long to wait to feed a new arrival and how long before you worry it's not eating? All are different but makes me nervous if it's not hungry after a few days after shipping

what kind of anemone? give it a week or two before feeding. if it wants to eat, it will hold onto the food with its tentacles.

Don't rush it. Let it settle for at least a week. If it attaches firmly and opens well after a week then you can try feeding it. Anemones won't even starve for quite awhile if your light is adequate.

Anemones can go without eating for a long, long time. As long as he does not deflates for several days he can start to eat. Feed very small food first size of mysis. If he eat these then increase the size slowly. They need energy to digest the food. If they don't have the digestive enzymes they will not be able to digest larger food.

I don't like to see $500 turn into 4,3... then saddness thanks for info it's puffy and looks ok just thought it would eat, just being paranoid gracias for info
