Anemone agreession toward non-clown fish

I am getting back into the hobby after a number of years. I have a 50g cube with a GBTA and a couple of Ocellaris. I also have a firefish, bi-color blenny, neon dottyback and watchman goby.

I would like to add some other anemones, mainly colored carpets, etc. What is your experience/advice with respect to preventing anemones from eating their fish tankmates? I have heard that S. haddoni is a lot more aggressive than S. gigantea in this regard. Does it help to help the anemones well-fed? What about Sebae anemones or Mags?

Any thoughts?

My thoughts are one, I wouldn't mix species in that small of a tank, and 2, fish won't have much choice but to be way to close to that carpet at all times.
They'd be swimming the gauntlet between the 2.
I'd just add one more BTA of another color myself, and even then it won't be long before you have a tank full of nem.

Anemone

I would watch an anemone around any fish that prefer the lower areas of the tank. If the tank is under 100 gal it is just a matter of time before they become anemone food, the YWG and the bleeny will be the first to go.

In significantly larger tanks, do the bottom-dwelling fish just have more room to avoid the short-fingered menace or will the carpet eventually catch something? How good are fish instincts in avoiding these anemones (if they have the room)?
