I posted this in the Reef Discussion forum and it was suggested I post it here.
The bad news - My Nemo algae clip fell off the glass yeasterday and landed behind a rock by the anemone. I could not get to it with my 24" tongs so I was going to wait until I finished work to get my arms wet. My Maroon Clown (female) decided to get it for me. The only problem was that she gave it to the anemone which had swollowed it. The only part sticking out was the suction cup.
The good news - The anemone spit it out in the middle of the night. My clown also laid eggs sometime during all of this.
