Anemone & Circulation Propellers

A couple days ago I purchased a really nice green bubble anemone. It was doing great until it decided to move off his rock last night & near the top of the tank next to one of my circulation propellers. There he met his fate. While it still may be alive, he looks bad. Question: Will all of his chopped up parts poison my entire tank. Do I need to do a complete water change? Thanks.

Definitely do a big water change. How big depends on how big your tank is and its capacity to dilute the pollutants.

What's the best solution? I know there are like foam covers, but that would seem to inhibit flow. I'm going to find some mesh like what fraggers use to keep frags from moving away from where they want them and cover my circulation intakes.
