Anemone ID help...

Wanted to see if anyone can ID this anemone.

Is this a baby inferno anemone?
What would you guys say it's worth price wise?

Looks like a nice rainbow. Tips not green so not an inferno.

Price is very subjective. Looks recently cut.. see lower right corner. Still nice, so 80 to 100 bucks.

Rose would lack orange.

Why are you asking the community what you think it's worth? Are you planning on selling it? BTW, under your LED's it's very pretty

I recently picked it up and wanted to see if I over paid for one but $80 to $100 was what I ended up paying for. I will be selling it later on when it does split tho. The anemone is under the maxspect mazarra lighting that I am also currently selling lol

Are you guys sure it’s not an inferno anemone? I took another look and took some more photos and I see some green tips on it, not sure why my camera turned it purple but look at this again we the new photos and let me know your thoughts.

Op:. Seriously.... Does it matter? If you like it, call it Bryan's inferno. You are also getting ideas on how much the community would pay you for it. Are you trying to see if you can pawn off this 80 dollar nem you got at a store as an CC inferno for 800 bucks? If so... Not gonna happen...

But you have a really nice rainbow, and for sure you didn't loose money over it. I guarantee you will be able to sell it's clones for 80 dollars many times over.

Not trying to see it as an inferno, just wanted to make a positive ID before I called it something it wasn’t. Bryan’s inferno has a nice ring to it but that isn’t an inferno lol. Thanks again for clearing it up... a rainbow it is then. A nice one at best. Hopefully it keeps its color as it gets bigger tho.

It is a pretty BTA - WYSIWYG. Leave it at that and stop trying to suggest it is something it is not.

If someone buys the anemone from you, odds are it will look different in their tank anyway.

I understand that it will look different under different lighting. For this reason I post up an ID so that I do not claim it's something that it isn't. I first ask if it was an inferno, others said no cause it didn't have green tips. I took another look and I seen green at the top so my thoughts were my first photos must be glitched or something so I retook the photos and uploaded again with the greens showing. I'm not anemone expert and for this reason I ask the question. I rather be 100% sure it's not then telling someone it is when the truth is far beyond that. I'm just asking questions and learning as I go. Another set of eyes is better then one set.

It's a bubble tip anemone. Plain and simple, nothing special or high end about it.

All these designers corals and fish naming is giving me a headache. Whatever happened to buying something cause you like how it looks instead of what people call it. This hobby is changing into a channel fashion show. The anemone looks real nice, enjoy! When it splits sell it for what u bought it for without calling it channel anemone, problem solved. Lol just my thought.

Really confused by all the criticism. A person bought an Anemone and wanted to verify ID and potential lineage. Look at different forums where people buy and sell different strains of BTAs for $200+. Just because we don’t like the trend it doesn’t mean the trend isn’t happening. OP is confused. Help him and move on.
