Extremely bleached RBTA?

def not an rbta. looks like an extremely bleached H. Mag (ritteri). Im surprised its alive, gonna take a lot of TLC to get that one back to good health

yeah thats what i was thinking, i didnt think it was a bubble tip, i have a 10" ritteri also in my tank, and the more i looked at the two i thought this one also was a ritteri, it was bleached at the LFS and when i put it in my tank it quickly climbed up onto the overflow where it is at now, its not getting direct flow, its under a 12l reeflu 250w, but not directly under it, it hasnt moved so i figure its happy there, and bout 3 days ago it actually ate something for the first time, a small piece of silverside, i was completely surprised, it usually looks better at night then it does in the day, sometimes it looks great others it look deflated and its mouth is open, but again ive had him a while i figured if itw as going to die it would of by now.Any suggestions as far if i should try and get it more flow? or more light?

you already have a ritteri?!

yes and yes. Build a rock pedestal.

yes have an existing ritteri, bought this one, couldnt id it at LFS, but now that it looks way better then it did, i figured id asl everybodies opinion, i had the impression it looked like my other at least its base did.

Remebered this thread so thought Id put an updated pic of my sickly Ritteri I saved from the LFS, in the pics above I had already had it about 3 months, and it started to gain some color back in the above pics also, and its been almost a year since I posted those.Ive since moved him from my 120 to 300, and he hasnt moved from where I originally placed him.

Here it is about a month after it was in my 300

And here it is today, minus the chocolate oci's, I have a pair of pink skunks that go between the ritteri and my purple carpet.

It's really nice to see a success story, especially with this particular type of anemone! Good job!!!

Thanks Garygb, and petoonia

other then being really bleached, it always had a tight mouth, and always attached his foot, and I try to keep good husbandry for my anemones, I have 9 in my aquarium now.

Yes I target feed all of them, some more then others, the ritteri from the pics eats the best by far, and my PLTA, my ritteri gets any dead fish also, he got to eat my copperband yesterday :(
