anemone newbie question

fisrt off is sea ren a type of anemone? if it is are many clowns know to host it? how hard are they to take care of? if this isnt the right one for me should i go with a bubble tip? any kinda help would be awesome. thanks!

I don't know what a "sea ren" is. Maybe you could post a pic? First thing I would make sure my tank was mature enough for an anemone, then try to match the clown species with the proper anemone.

I'm guessing maybe he meant Sea Pen. If that is the case, it is not an anemone. It will be difficult to keep and a clown in not likely to accept it as a host.

sorryyyy everyone my mistake it was a typo i mean to right down sea pen i was in a rush and had to get to work. sorry for confuseing everyone. i have a tomato clown im most likly going to wind up getting a BTA cause i hear thats the best option for them. one question when you say for the tank to mature how long are you talking about? my tank is just 3 months old, im guessing maby somewere around 6-8 months is a mature tank?
