Anemone placement

I have read the other posts so I know that my new anemone will travel the tank until it finds a spot it likes. I put it in the tank in a spot I thought it would like but it wanted to move.
My question is about where it ended up. I would have thought that it would pick a spot where it gets good light and decent water flow. Oh no it posted up in a cave I made with my LR. It gets some light but it is not in direct light. Will it be ok there? I kind of figured it will move out of there if it becomes unhappy with it's position. It still looks good and it actually it looks better than it has in a few days.
Also
I will be picking up some juvi clowns in a couple days. Will they care about the positioning of the anemone?

The clown don't care where the carpet is. It'll move as long it finds a happy place.
My experience was stick it the rock that has a lot of holes.

Im not too familiar with the bigger nems, but I know smaller ones like BTA's like to bury their feet in caves and holes. I had a GBTA that died a few months back, and I recently got another. The new one buried its foot in the same exact place. Also dont worry about it not getting enough light. It will move if its not.

What kind of anemone is it? Placement depends on what kind it is -- some prefer to have their foot buried in the sand while others (like BTAs, as mentioned) like to have their foot in a hole in a rock.

I was taught a trick when I got my H. magnifica. I was told to place it lower than I wanted it, since they have a tendency to crawl up to the highest point of the rock. It worked like a charm.

Yep, need to know what kind of anemone you got. Pictures would be nice too.

It is a BTA I got from a local reefer. As if today it is still on the move. I will try to figure out how to posts pic.
