Anemone problems

Hi guys , this is my first time in here hoping to find some help in time , I've bought this anemone from an LFS last Monday , ( I'm not sure it's name but checking on net I'm seeing it is similar to a green tip sabae)I've did 3 hours acclimation,and was really nice even in the bag.I've placed it in the tank and it was really pretty for just 1 day:-( the day after it had opened its mouth and tentacles deflated for the past week now. Water Parameters are in check it doesn't feed either. Is it dying? What might be wrong? Flow is good, enough to gently move the fingers. At first I tought it is acclimating in a new environment but it's been a week now. Any feedback on what I should do? My clown already hosted it but it's not improoving. I have a purple gigantea carpet anamonie in the tank which is thriving well.

He's probably caught an infection. You need to get him out and treat him ASAP if it's already been a week.

Treat with Ciprofloxacin. 250mg to 10/G of water. Do 50% water change daily around evening time and dose him daily every evening.

The clown is gonna stress him. So remove ASAP.

You can use a 5, 10, or 20g tank to treat in.

Put heater and powerhead on one side and NEM on the other separated by eggcrate you can buy at HD or Lowes in lighting section.

Make sure you have mixed saltwater on hand for the next week. Make sure it's aged for 24 hrs or use DT water.

Cipro can be purchased online without prescription.

Google fish antibiotics.

The last photo is one taken today. I'm thinking its already too late for this anamone to make it! :-( I never geared of the medication before. I bought it very healthy but was shipped a day before I bought it.

You got a sick H. magnifica. Ht need treatment or else Ht will not make it. Ht may pass his infection to your other anemones in your tank.

Can I use some sort of human antibiotic? Desprite and don't have from where to buy fish antibiotics locally! :-(

Bro, have somebody call in human Cipro. You need to dose 500mg NOW!!! There is still time.

Overnight the meds bro (priority overnight), you can save him!!

He's really nice! Don't give up on him.

That is one of the most beautiful anemones next to a Gigantea.

I live in Malta (Europe) this morning I will try to find human cipro, but it's very hard to get without prescription here. The anamone is getting worse each day. :-( if I get my hands on cipro, how much should I dose? And how frequent. I've read the setup needed so I prepared another tank and filled with main tank water, now for the dosing part? And waterchanges? Thanks for all your help guys

The sticky post in this forum has great instructions on dosage and setup of a QT.

Regarding the antibiotics, ask a vet, physician, dentist, whatever, they can all write prescription. Not sure of online options in Europe.

Dose daily..

Start with 500mg because he's been sick for a long time. He needs urgent treatment.

Water changes daily...before you dose again. Try to do it late evening. 50% water changes.
