anemone proof powerhead

i think i'm going to have to add a powerhead of some type to my anemone tank. i need a little extra water movement than my return pump is giving ...

i had hoped to avoid having a ph in the tank at all but i'm going to have to use one. i'm afraid of a wandering bubble tip getting caught up in it....

i'm sure those of you with anem tanks have had to deal with this.... are there any pumps that you can recommend to me?

I think hagen makes a foam adapter that works well. Otherwise make one from a foam prefilter like is found in a eshopps overflow box. A short piece of lift tube with a cap on the bottom could be fitted onto the powerhead- drilled out and the foam slipped over.

thanks for the suggestions. sounds like foam over the intake is the general concensus..

I use the mesh for needle point that is at the craft stores with either zip ties or rubber bands. If you use the foam just make sure that you clean it often.
