Anemone question

One of two things, either waste or it is spawning.

Granted, this is a Haddoni, but does it look anything like this?

yes just like that.

Then it is spawning. As for what to do, not much you can do. I would put in some fresh carbon, perhaps run your skimmer a little wetter, and do a water change --- if you have some water ready, if you don't not a big deal.

Mine lasted for about 45 minutes and didn't harm anything in the tank.

The thing to figure out is why it spawned. Was it a stress induced spawn or a spawn because it is doing great and has the extra resources to spawn.

What size tank, lights, how long been set up, water parameters, etc., would be helpful in figuring out why is spawned.

tank

My tank has been set up for years. Although it was up graded 2 years ago. My tank is a shalow 125 Height is just 18". I have very good water quaity. All prams are well within range. I dose and test often along with WC's. I have alot of coral sps and inverts and med amount of fish. The lighting is 3 150w MH + 6 65 w PC. All coral is doing great! I think its just spawned. I don't see any reason it would be stressed. I also have had some sp of my coral spawn on a regular basis. (pocilloporidae). So now I quess I know I have a male. LOL

Congrats! You have a male :)

For what it's worth, he may have been collected south of the equator and think it's summer! Too bad you don't have a female :(
