Well, I take his question as to why i would need to buy all the time, to indicate that I have them die and need to replace them. Also, after rereading the question that has gotten turned into a how/what /why clownfish hoast here or there, I have placed the ane. into cracks in the rock (on its side) between the substrate and rock. They will bury btwn the rock and substrate and extend out from there, thus still be on its side. The flow I use is low and in direct, so they wave ever so slightly.

Why not just ask. I don't sell anything on this forum, nor do I do anything business related here. NOTHING I do here has any business relations, I use RC to learn, as most do. Why would you think you had to be sneaky about finding out if I was a "commerical" poster. Really assinine.
First: We have far too many folks using RC as an email and personal message based business.
Second: If you have an issue with the way I do my job, take it up in the proper forum, with a staff member, or privately.
I've got a good 20 years in the trade and I'm a Marine Biologist. Despite all that I would not make any statements of surety as to what species of anemone svoccio has. A LTA is certainly in the running, but very far being the most likely based on the description and what's readily available in the trade. A good picture is indeed needed to hazard a guess better than listing a few possible species.

The question Traveller7 asked you didn't call for the attitude you gave him. Had you simply stated that you go through so many due to being in the trade there would be no problem. I would urge you to drop the attitude in future posts.

I agree with billsreef. At best, a picture would be necessary. Even then, it may be very difficult (and in a few cases, impossible) to get a positive ID.
Ditto. Anyone with experience might make a general attempt at an identification based upon a written description and no picture, but no one could make the positive identification you did based upon the information given. Your identification might be right. It's also equally possible that it's completely wrong.
When you make an absolute statement like
expect to get called on it. The people on this forum work hard to correct the misinformation that gets spread around. Word your statement a little differently ("nice to read all this great info, but your anemone sounds just like the green LTAs I see pretty often at work") and it wouldn't have been a problem.
As it was, your post came across as condescending and insulting to everyone else who had already posted.... kind of like how you felt Traveller was sounding toward you. The written medium doesn't allow the subtelty of nuance that holds so much of our conversational "attitude."
That being said, publicly jumping on a Forum Moderator in their forum is never a good idea. It's their house and you're the guest.
