I have had a green bubble tip for several months now with a mated pair of maroon clownfish. Yesterday morning i came downstairs to find my half my anemone sucked up into one of my powerheads and the rest of it stuck to the outside. I got it off and put it back on a rock. The half that is still alive looks like it is ok, it has its color and the tentiles are inflated, but it looks like the mouth in the midle might have been ripped out too. Can the anemone recover from something form this? A few years ago i had an anemone split, but that was by its own accord. I dosed iodine once i saw it, but am not sure if there is anything else i can do. Should i stick with it or just toss it before it dies in my tank and makes a mess?
