I have a RBTA that i have had a couple of months i woke up the other morning and he had split. I was gone for the day and the piece that split off split again. So now i have 1 medium/small RBTA and 2 small/tiny RBTA. How long does it usually take for them to heal? Should i be feeding them or wait? Last question would be has anyone else experienced them splitting twice in 1 day?

Thanks
Jason

I don't have experience with this, but I have read in other threads that splitting so often in a short period of time. Means some thing is out of wack in your tank. You can feed them once they are completely healed up. Check your tank parameters and tell us the results. Congrats on the new anemones though:)

I will check again tonight, I read after posting on anther thread that people have had them split after a big meal. I had a flasher wrasse that was able to squeeze itself into the overflow and i fed him to the anemone like a day or two beforehand. All 3 seem to be doing well as well as the rest of the tank mostly lps and a couple sps.

I forgot to mention that but yeah you are right they will split if fed well too. Its always best to check your tank parameters..just incase.

will do i know when i checked last week everything was good trates were like 5ppm and phosphates were 0-.1ppm and the calc, mag, alk were all in check.
