My tank is a 55g long about 3 months old. I want to know if my current light is going to be enough to keep an anemone happy until i get a new light. The one i have is a t5HO 2 bulb fixture ( the new one i get will be a 4 bulb) and the bulbs are 54 watts a peice acitinic blues.

I had tried an anemone in like the first month and that was just dumb on my part because it died in like a week, but i dont think it was healthy in the first place. It was bleach white when i got it and between the and now i have learned alot:reading:

No, I don't think your lighting is enough to sustain it.

Regardless of what you would like to add to your system, you should wait until the system is ready - somehow upgrades keep getting put off...........

point taken i was just goin to see if anybody had objections. ill wait it out n get the new light first thanks for the input. definetley doin my best to be patient because it will just end up costin me more money in the future.:thumbsup:

I've tried to keep nems with subpar lighting and they don't last much more than a month. Just trying to keep you from making the same mistakes I did!
