I was just asking, the way you worded it just made me wonder. I'm asking your opinion though, I dont expect it to be a guarantee, just good advice. i'm not going to come back like your my lawyer or something. Basically the way it looked, since i had said they were already in a bubble tip, that it was less likely theyd take to a haddoni...

i'm not wording this right...
obviously they'll take another type of anemone, their in a rose. but i figured you noticed that, and it just seemed like you were being extra certain o state they may not which, already knowing their in a rose, might mean they especially wont like the haddoni...

i didnt know, you seem upset, so im falling over myself here to not get into anything. just like the dsb thing, i didnt mean anything by it... people are so touchy on here lately though...

I'm not being touchy..I promise..its difficult for me to express my feelings with typing. I need to learn to use more smileys..see :) not upset about a thing:D

If I were you ..I would get the red haddoni anyways even if my clowns didn't take to it.:) because I've always wanted a red one BUT that is what I would do:D

Not that the red is for you but when choosing a carpet health is the most important! So what ver color you choose i guess hope for the best! I was lucky to buy my blue from a local person beraking down a tank, and my red i observed for 2 weeks before bringing it home! Good luck w/ your hunt!

I've been watching this other one for awhile and it's small so easy to transport, looks good and from a reputable buyer! I guess i really can only hope, now I have an excuse to sell this rose that i never wanted to begin with!

lol. talk about tight quarters.

well that makes it easier then. I love this rbta in ways but he moves from time to time or if I move any rock he moves and so as things grow in that just seems like a recipe for disaster. Mayeba carpets just as bad IDK, I posted about selling t and someone sent me a pm right away warning me about how carpet give off a lot of nitrogenous waste and linked to a reefkeeping article. So now i'm not sure what I should do. I dont have water quality issues, but i dont want to be inviting them either.

Not sure about that i have 2 carpets in a 90 w/ no problems as long as you have a good skimmer all would be fine!

I have two in my 58 right now, and all is fine. The blue one has been with me for 2 years ( in that tank for a year ) and the green one for about 9 months now. Both are Haddonis.

What kind of carpet is this blue purple one you are looking at? Haddoni or Gigantea..just curious:)

That is a good question to ask. I know that personally I wouldn't mix a haddoni and a Gigantea in the same tank -- mainly because of the huge difference in flow requirements.

Hmm that poses an issue... i dint know and neither does tthe retailer. Which i know sounds bad, but I have worked with these people before and they are really good, they just dont happen to know.

I think a Haddoni, which wont be good for me then, because I have a pretty strong flowing tank.

Also as a side note I called Fosters and the anemones they list are whatever is available at the time so it could be mertensii, gigantea, or haddoni and in whatever color they guy grabs. I told them that unlike other areas of their service this seemed a sub standard way to do things and they were the only retailer that handled the sale of these animals that way, only I said it alot mor diplomatic than that, and they said they would suggest it up the line, but I should consider the Divers Den to which i told them I would but I rarely ee them put any carpets in the den. No response to that part.

Maybe you could take some pictures of it, post it on here and we'll try to ID it for you. It shouldn't take long for us to ID it if its healthy.

If you do have a lot of flow, you may have to cut back on some of it, or move the powerheads around. Haddonis are not fond of a lot of flow.
