The reddish one to the right is a small mertensii. The one on the left is a (bleached) S. helianthus that I rehomed from someoneWhat are those nems on the right and left?

Thanks! Yes I do have a build thread for the 540g. It's either in the large tanks forum or Marine Aquarists of Sacramento club forum. I haven't updated it in quite a while though. Basically I have a 300 and 540 plumbed together into a common 165g sumpCool. Do you have a tank build? I like the live rock you have and how the gig is laying in it.
Btw the live rock is just dry Marco rock that has become covered with various algae and coraline algaeCool. Do you have a tank build? I like the live rock you have and how the gig is laying in it.

Thanks! The 300 is 96x30x24. The "new" tank was actually rescued out of a home that was repo'd. I spent a few months refinishing it. For like $500 bucks and some elbow grease I couldn't pass it up. Dealing with a 36" deep tank is challenging but I'm figuring it out!Found it. Massive tank. 8'x3'x3'! And i just want a 5-6'x30"x24" or something. What are the dimensions of your 300 peninsula?
I don't think I could go with tanks that deep. No way for me to reach in without going swimming in it.
Beautiful haddoni. It just hangs out there on the rocks?
Thanks Minh! I didn't realize just how much mucus gigs produce until I had this big one in QT. I see why they need a lot of flow so that they don't smother in their own slime.I am sorry about the small green one, but the purple one looks good.
feeding him and you will have a monster Gigantea in no time. My largest on is reaching 24+ inches with minimal feeding. I can see visible squirt of grow when I feed mine.
Thanks! These things are so particular.Very nice. I envy you. Funny how it look like it melts into the rock work.
