So I checked out the guarantee on your webite, and it stated that is was the total price after price of item, shipping, tax, etc...correct? So if another website offers the same item as marine depot (but their item is more expensice) but they offer it with free shipping (marine depot does not) and the free shipping makes the competitor's total price less than marine depots total price, you all would match their total price and then refund 10% of the difference? Basically, their item is more expensive but the free shipping makes it less expensive then marine depot so the guarantee still works for a case like that.
And does the guarantee work for all products including aquariums?
It sounds like you've got the right idea here,
Cloudburst2000. So sometimes another store will have a lower price... but with shipping, their price will be higher. Alternatively, you may find the opposite: a higher price that is made lower by the other store offering free shipping.
That's why we match and beat the total price: item price + tax (if applicable) + shipping & handling. It makes the offer more advantageous to you, plus it makes our job easier as well! The whole point is to match and beat the price of all the other online aquarium supply stores, so we just want to make it as easy as possible.
