Anthelia, commons zoas, Kenya tree -- do I throw it away?

I don't have the heart to throw away coral, but I don't know what else to do with it. I've posted in the past that people can come by and pick them up for free, but most just flake out.

I get it -- there's no incentive to pick things up when they're common and don't cost any money. But what should I do with it? I don't think any LFS would want this stuff. Should I just throw it all in the trash? I want my anemone tank back!

Yeah I know the feeling that's what happens to my frag tank. can't bring myself to toss something I took under my care. I am a lot more picky now on what I take where I used to go get stuff from people and take the free and ons they tossed in, now I decline.

There is always putting it for free on CL but you have to deal with people you have no sorta info( worst case scenario) on and some are super weird. I also have brought them to Lfs in the past but I don't even have any of those close anymore lol.

It's so tough. I had to throw away so much Xenia, I had a hard time doing so. I felt like I was a criminal lol. Kenya and Anthelia real hard to find homes. I'm surprised no one wants some zoas.

I know I can use some :P

I know a lot of newbie who would love to have anything that's alive. PM you.

Wow... sounds like there's some interest. Pick up is in Alameda.

Here are some answers to the PMs I've received:

1. No, I won't give one person everything. There is plenty to go around.

2. I have anthelia, Kenya tree, Texas trash palys, and some other random zoas/palys (though they're not very colorful).

3. I can meet during most of the day on weekdays since I work at home. Weekends are tougher as my three kids keep me busy. I'm out of town this Friday-Saturday morning.

If you have a big tank, I have a huge rock -- about 11" across -- that is covered with zoas/palys (as well some majanos which should be removed). If you want it, let me know and we can work something out.

If we set up a time, please try not to flake!

And finally, if I give it to you for free, don't turn around and sell it!

PM me if you want to set up a time to meet.

I appreciated the Kenya trees I got from you! My horses love them. Thanks again man.

I don't even know if any of the LFSes would take it in though, but it's great for newbies!
