Anthias Pictilis wont eat

Hey folks.....

I got one of these remarkable fish and he's not eating. I can't tell if it's because of jet lag (got him yesterday) or if I'm not feeding him stuff he likes to eat.

I thought he is supposed to eat small meaty foods like cyclopeeze, froxen mysis shrimp - but no dice. I also tried some bloodworms too and he looked interested in them, but didn't eat.

He looks healthy, no spots or lines. He fins are in good shape and he is plump.

What next?

I'm going to have to tell you that most likely it isn't just jet lag... pictilis are notorious for not eating. I'd try some small ghost shrimp or live brine.
Good luck!
Jon

If nothing else works - it's not good for a steady diet, but I have yet to see an anthias that will refuse to eat just hatched brine shrimp. They are easy to hatch.
