Anyone have any experience with gopro inside their aquarium? Any setting recomendation for a clear pix/video? I have the hero4 and cant get a clear color of the corals. The blue spectrum is making my whole recording blue. I even use the red filter and didnt work either.

try starting the recording once the camera is already under the water down at the level where you want to record.
You can use the wifi app on your phone to start the recording once you are where you want to be in the tank and watch the recording as it is being taken on the phones screen

let me know if that helps..

Best result would probably be in "native" mode white balance and post process.

This was going to be my suggestion as well. Just a small amount of "Photoshop Magic" will return the colors to what you see when you look at your tank.

Hanks for the tip, didnt know you can use the iphone ap for live viewing. Been doing it blindly until i uploaded to my computer.

Also second on the red filter, that is what I use while scuba diving at depths greater than 40 feet. Shallow water you don't need it. Same would apply to a aquarium. I know when I use mine I don't use the filter. Just toss it in and off it goes. Same if I use the suction cup mount externally.

When i just use it without any filter, my video is really blue from the artinic lighting. Also if i try to take a pix it seems blurry

Another option is to angle the camera a bit if you are using a stick. Also, you could record at the surface pointing the camera down.

So i took some photo, after messing with all the setting, this is the best i can get out of it. Still blue looking photo. Photo is whithoug led just t5

I have a set of Backscatter dive filters. Usually the Shallow filter works best for my tank but I imagine if you have a much "bluer" lighting the 20-50' filter would do better.
