Any idea on what this is?

I had this posted in the New to the Hobby forum and no one knew what it might be. There was a suggestion that it might be a SPS/LPS that is not doing well. These came up on their own with the oldest one being about 3 years old. The stalk is hard like but the rest of it is soft and fuzzy little balls. No holes (tunicate) or anything like that. Here are some pics to see if that helps any. The biggest one is about 1" tall and the smallest one is about 1/4" tall.
