Ok i can understand that is isnt very long at 4x2x2 but if i were to get them at 1.5-2.5 inches they should be fine for the first two years or so, would anyone say>?

so heres an updated list after some re thinking. hope itll work out, i plane on upgrading to a 300+ gallon tank in the next few years so the tangs will have room to grow out fully. but let me know what you think, I have recently redone the aqua scape so ill be add more pics in a while. and since im buying all tangs at or around 1.5-2.5 inches i think ill have plenty of time, and if they are introduced by passive to aggressive theh should be fine right?
....

Wait to get all the tangs -- don't buy fish for a tank that you hope to have, but buy them for the tank you currently have. I made this mistake in the past, and it is a PITA to remove the fish --- plus growing attached to them.

replacing a 120 with a larger tank is a big undertaking. Something that should require planning or you will end up wasting a lot of cash in the process. I would personally avoid fish that would not thrive in my current setup and add the tangs once I upgraded.

No, tangs (( small ones )) grow surprisingly fast, and should out grow your tank in less then a year or two.

Ok, you asked . . .

Reef Fish
a small school of 4-6 Blue Reef Chromis - -Chromis cyaneus

Which will winnow itself down to one or two

Copperbanded Butterfly -Chelmon rostratus
A difficult fish to introduce if it perceives any aggression

Long-Nose Hawkfish, Oxycirrhites typus
Which will potentially eat your shrimp

Multibarred Angelfish - Centropyge multifasciatus
Which is a potentially difficult fish to get to survive

Mystery Wrasse- Pterosychiropus Splendidus
Another potential shrimp eater

Chevron Tang - Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis
Excellent choice, probably the only tang you should have

Hawaiian Longnose Black Tang - Zebrasoma rostratum

Powder Blue Tang-Acanthurus leucosternon
An aggressive fish with regard to other tangs

Hippo Tang- Paracanthurus hepatus
Grows to over a foot, potentially aggressive

Regal Angelfish-Pygoplites Diacanthus
A difficult species to get feeding unless there is NO aggression in the tank even if it is a red sea regal

Generally too many fish in a smallish tank and for sure too many tangs

Inverts

Yellow or Red Carpet Anemone- Stichodactyla
A fish eater especially in a crowded tank

Amen to that. I think it is BrianD who says "buy for the tank you have, not the tank you hope to have". Most upgrades never happen. They are always promised by the folks who are knowingly overstocking their existing tank. :sad2:

You don't seem to be listening to the people that you are asking advise from. You said you were just going to put your lion into your fuge after someone told you it would eat your other fish. This right here is the problem with your outlook. Instead of seeking to provide an environment that your pets with thrive in, you are simply looking to add a bunch of cool looking fish and hope it works. You don't seem to be doing much research on these fish.

You just listed 6 large-ish fish in your current 120g, again hoping your fish will just survive is not what you should be aiming for. Instead of stocking this tank, why don't you sell it and look for the larger tank now? You don't seem like you're going to be happy until you have all the fish you want.
