Any interest in group travel to RaP Oct 10 & 11?

Should have posted the earlier, but anyone interested in getting a large vehicle/bus to travel to Reef-a-Palooza (OC Fairgrounds, CA) on October 10th or 11th?

I mentioned this at the last meeting. I wanted to see if we could travel together to save some money on gas and a ride.

If you are going to RaP what day(s) are you going and would you be interested in this?

I heard its a great show. Never been there before, but might be interested in going this year, just need to check my schedule

I plan on going. I was going to go early Saturday morning and come back Sunday. I'll volunteer to drive depending on how many of us there are.

I'll be there sunday, but planning to stay a few extra days to visit some friends and family. If anyone is going and would be willing to bring back some corals and temporarily hold them for me in their system, I'll try and make it worth their while.

Otherwise I'll be going as a spectator or buying dry goods only.

How was reefapooloza this year? Was it worth the trip? if so why?

It was my first time going. It was just ok, would've been better if I actually got to buy stuff. Deals were to be had, but there were also overpriced stuff that other vendors were selling for way less.

Dry goods weren't discounted much and in fact can be found cheaper on amazon.

I got to see a $6,000 bounce shroom. Lol
