Any one ever see this? Fish cancer or eggs?

So I had a blenny who's cheek/head had been growing for months. It started as a fat cheek, but as it grew larger, it grew even quicker until it covered up one of his eyes and was forming bulbous tumors all over one side and the back of his head. When I got home yesterday, the tumor had ruptured and the poor guy had an open sore on his face. So I pulled him out and put him down. When I investigated his issue I found what looks to be eggs filling his face. Anyone have any clue what they are?

Wait so that last picture is what came out of the blennys head?? Nothing seems right about any of that to me. Whats the fish currently look like? Is there another eye under all the swelling? Looks more like a tumor but that last picture is really throwing me off

It could have been a case of internal Lymphocystis. While it's rare, it can happen.
How long did this take to grow?
How old was the fish?

This started in Sept 2015. Seemed to grow exponentially as it got bigger. Unsure as to what age as I bought him fully grown
