any ya guys have a tds meter?

hey guys im hoping within the next months to have my rodi up and running,im looking for a tds meter,doesnt mater if its inline or a dip one,unfortunetly the person i bought this rodi screwed me,id say it needs all new filters just to be safe but once i get it up and running i can stop using freaking tap water lol

I have a portable one, but im on the other end of the earth. they are fairly cheap...Depot may even have one.

If you buy used stuff like lights fixture rodi unit and so on. Plan on replacing them even the person said there brand new. You'll have to much $$$$ in the tank to take a chance.

yea i learned that lesson lol and i wish i had a home depot here i have a lowes and they arent as good but ill call em and ask

No don't wast your money on those rodi units. Not that great for us reefers use. I be doing a group buy next month with BRS (bulk reef supply). 2nd week of October Save your money then. There reactors are good for the price. And other thing you may need.

get that one you msg me about on ebay. that will work just fine. all you need it for is to check the water out of the RO/DI. and then again only once a month or two. if you get a DI with the color changing resin, you can actually not worry about testing till you see some of the color changing. remember, with a properly setup RO/DI, you will trash 4 cups of water to every 1 cup of good.

If you're still not set on buying one, I have a pretty good portable one that you are more than welcome to borrow if you are ever over in the West Nashville area. I still would recommend buying one as it will be useful in the future for know when to replace your filters....

thanks diver,ill buy the one i found and pickup has,im curious as too how much crap im puting into my tank with tap water and not rodi lol
