Is there a way that I can have my battery back up air pumps come on ONLY if there is a power outage? Some sort of solenoid switch? wired to the switches on the battery pumps? and when the power comes back on, the pumps shut off. Any thoughts? TinMan
Use a NC relay (normally closed). When the power is off, the relay will allow power to go thru it. Use a relay that can handle both AC (for the coil) and DC for the control.
Alright Mr. G, I want pics and progress on the original thread. I've just installed a system with 2-226's and 10 RTD modules all daisy chained... to bad its not on a NaClH2O$sump.
Just red-neckin, shoot a post.
Tinman - GH is right on, AC on the coil and DC on the contacts.
