Thanks. Nice memories in 1990's when everything we import or smuggle from Germany or UK to Italy.
If i remember well first marine shop in town Reggio Emilia was opened in 1995.
Other one also soon later he was driver of courier across Europe and he bring lot of interesting
live rocks, animals equipment even this MH ARcadia that i purchased.
Now no more crying lets assemble a new one

OK today started measuring and need to use some bricks that missing as support together with existing old wall that kept old window...its 30 cm wide need another 30 cm to add bricks and wall will be ready. Also to close big hole we created to be able to move complete assembled sliding door frame and 2 huge windows out on balcony. Lol was funny 11th floor i told them to rent crane but they insisted noooo need.
Ok as you can see aquarium will be quite high on wall I dont have problem with small 3 step ladder...
There is also space on left side of wall thinking to left it open closing with some nice cube space for any future needs to balcony side...where i will put very heavy MH ballast on wall maybe will be exact nice space for it.
As on balcony there is 2 side windows also on kip way will be enough for fresh air and super small net to avoid small fly and bugs crazy to light MH and neon...air condition will be on the floor parapet so called and if will need will place some channels with hot air extraction exactly on top of Mhi and out to left window. But dont think so as there will be plenty of daily and sun light but Mhi and neon will work in combination less hours.
As you can spot now its going removal of old parket floor than hydroisolation layer and concrete with blocks to build missing wall support. 30 cm
Question: what you suggest on top of wall under the aquarium?
As im on 11th floor earthquake i feel everyone even smaller...skyskraper was built in old quality way in time of professional arhitect of Yugoslavia very strong concrete frames ect.
Did i need 3 cm approx bottom side frame aluminium fixed on wall well with very long strong screws and around to keep tank while shaking or not?
Dont want that simply slide down with stronger shake?
In 2018 and 2019 i worked on one power plant in Taiwan and feel nice earthquake...and hotel aquarium was snap...glass crap
Thinked about something like this but not wood of course but strong alu or inox frame?

From floor level to bottom will be 1 meter height + 75 cm of aquarium.
I see that many aquarium on video on eartquake spilling out water dancing and my have quite long top side supports wide 5 cm all around can help a little to avoid spilling as height of aquarium is 75 cm but water level will be around 70 cm. But usefull only 3.5 cm other is thickness of acrylic.

Sorry for my bad English grammar but how they say photo says 100 words
I never mixed concrete and build ect but was simple to try lets place this 20 bricks together with old wall.
1 brick cost 2 US$ x 20 lets doit.
25 kg bag of concrete cost 6 US$ just for prices... why we build in EU strong houses not with
Chinese wood sticks hahahaa We have on coast side sometimes wind so called Bura 120 km/h

Thinked of 2 plates 60 cm from Japan place them properly thinking about edges lets say few cm from both
edges as my tank is 130 cm long...wide is 60 cm. Maybe can be the best solution.

O.k. Christmas time is time for opening gifts. Today is for me
Lets open it. Need to measure exact position of MHi light as drilling on top will be done
now not when aquarium is on top. no no no. As hanging supports is not exactly in proper
left and right size (must be some German ingineering drink too much) LOL need proper
adjustment to be in middle of aquarium. Strange but its like this.
Also cable for MH bulb is with connector to separete box very heavy and need to measure
lenght to be hidden in nice cable white channel of course. Hate to see hanging cables all
around.

Now I need your help as was 30 y. ago when I used MHi lamp what is the proper distance
they write on Manual min. 30 cm from water level to avoid too much heat on surface...
As Im not going to fill coralls what grow will grow but mostly soft anemone and fishes
what you suggest people from water level up to MHi protection glass distance?
40 cm will be ok as sunshine light will be even too much to add daily...?

250 W MHI 15.000 Lumen and 4 T5 24 W each = 96 W Neon Blue

I asked Japanese producers of 2 plates how much will cost. Prevention is mother of all bastards.

Ok next as a little professional deformation working in energy and cabling to me need to be tip top this design is not acceptable on pendant lights by my own opinion.
3 different cables first need to hang down and will be never straight lined...As last 2 decades chinese isolation recycled is crap without any flexibility. Hate personaly plastic fantastic cables that is rigid. This white is a little bit soft but seams will be ugly see them 3 of them going up to ceiling.
Existing flat cables 1,5 mm■ with multiple wires than when you reach some distance lets say 2m far keeping horizontal lenght up than going left than can be split to separate plugs or from 1 small box ahead.
I will see how this 3 cables will hang if not will change them with 1 flat with 6 wires to top box on cealing. Grrrr and designers as well programmers that I hate. Hahaha

Good morning US we have 30 C sunshine days in Europe crazy weather fro Aprile.
When i get aquarium in my car in Italy producer very nice person I asked him for one
acrylic pipe and he quickly glued bottom and give me also tap that I will adjust it
with plastic bolts and nuts allready have and some pipe to bottom and other out on top.
He asked 18 Euro but I gave him much more. On net such a tubes are over 300 Euro.
Now question is: what you suggest how to use this tube; I have lot of bio balls or to place
inside not so small sand to not get clodgged I have this grade of new sand purchased
and create biological filtration with slow motion flow?
its 80 cm height and 15 cm wide acrylic with 5 mm tick acrylic body.
1 Bio balls but not trickling full submersed / or trickling and on bottom air booble cube
or
2 Deep sand tube filled almost to the top. which one? Sand is Aqua Medic Bali Sand 0,5-1,2 mm
or Aqua Medic Bali Sand 2-3 mm
