Anybody going to the west coast frag swap

It's a funny thing,I can sit home for several weekends with less than nothing going on,this weekend there is this frag swap but I am going diving. At least they both have the ocean in common. Have fun those of you who are going.

I've never been to these events before. Are the prices usually much better than if you bought the items from the vendor's online store? I wish I could go, but Saturday is the only day of the week when I'm not working and my kids are not at school....so I almost always take them somewhere to have fun (if the drive were much shorter, I could probably go for a little while, but not when it's over an hour each way).

Take your kids with you at the frag swap, then take them to Knotts Berry Farm when you're done. Two birds in one stone,. Just bring a good cooler for your frags

Taking the kids and going to Knotts is an interesting idea, but the wife (who will be sleeping tomorrow since she is working tonight as one of her 3 night shifts each week) would have a fit when she finds out I not only spent a bunch of money on corals, but also on the entrance fee for me and the kids and the parking fee. There is a possible cheaper option--I have a friend who lives in Buena Park and my kids and his daughter love playing together. That could possibly work.
Do kids get in free to the show? They're 5 and 7 years old.

Also, I'm still curious as to whether you get much better prices on pieces at these shows?

Under 12 is free

Some reefer bring their own frags that's why it call a frag swap

I have never been to coral farmers market before, but I have attended RAP and MAX a few times before. Unless this event is totally different from the ones I've attended how does one sell frags without a booth?
