crazy that so many people don't know about it. I would have expected Steve to do a better job advertising.
.
This is the way these events have rolled for years. I think he expects the vendors to promote it or something.
A couple hours at the Reef Raft booth n u are set and broke lol.....
I've never been to these events before. Are the prices usually much better than if you bought the items from the vendor's online store? I wish I could go, but Saturday is the only day of the week when I'm not working and my kids are not at school....so I almost always take them somewhere to have fun (if the drive were much shorter, I could probably go for a little while, but not when it's over an hour each way).
The entrance fees and parking I was referring to above was with Knotts
Under 12 is freeTaking the kids and going to Knotts is an interesting idea, but the wife (who will be sleeping tomorrow since she is working tonight as one of her 3 night shifts each week) would have a fit when she finds out I not only spent a bunch of money on corals, but also on the entrance fee for me and the kids and the parking fee. There is a possible cheaper option--I have a friend who lives in Buena Park and my kids and his daughter love playing together. That could possibly work.
Do kids get in free to the show? They're 5 and 7 years old.
Also, I'm still curious as to whether you get much better prices on pieces at these shows?
The well known vendors will charge you up the wazoo. I find all the good deals at the not so well know booths.

I have never been to coral farmers market before, but I have attended RAP and MAX a few times before. Unless this event is totally different from the ones I've attended how does one sell frags without a booth?
