Anybody going to the west coast frag swap

Its common place at any show to run all blue leds on corals. Been that way for years now. Nothing new here. But yeah all blue led before and after the main lights for me.

Only Steve Garrett run his light white cause he doesn't know how to make his light blue lol

I know it is. That does not make it right. I did ask a couple venders to adjust their lights. One said they couldn't.
I have a couple pieces that show no real color unless under blue. I would not have bought them if I had known. I just don't see the point in buying things that only look awesome under blue lights, if most people don't run their tank that way.

Hook, line and sinker - they got me to spend $55 on this bucket of coral food. Saw some great results and also talked to a vendor (dynasty corals form Idaho) that uses it exclusively and swears by it. Giving it a whirl..

Keep me posted I talk to the rep but didn't buy since I still have some reef roid. What size is your tank? That's a big bucket

150 gal. I said the same, I'm using reef roids and Coral frenzy now and he said all good to mix them together. I'll have Coral food for a long freakin time now!

Check out the directions. I'm going to try a bigger dose tomorrow. The first dose I did was small. I noticed later in the evening the water look really clear.[emoji102]

Wow that's pretty expensive 160g is equal 32 teaspoon so 150g tank will spend 55$ every 2.5 months if u feed 3 times a week.

3x a week for the first two weeks then switch to 2x a week
is this broad feeding suggestions? they suggest letting the powerhead go crazy with it?
You should turn the power heads off or down. Broad, spot or both is fine according to YouTube videos I watched.

They got me to spend 55 dollars as well. I have fed this food twice now. Will keep everyone posted or will start a new thread on product after some time using it. I bought the bigger jar. If it does work, I hope the price point decreases.....

I bought into it too (55.00) based on the recommendation of 3 different vendors 2 of which I know on a personal level and trust. I'm in my second feeding and corals appear to like it especially LPS, they immediately plump up.

I didn't even stop by their booth. Does someone carry it locally? I'd love to give it a try

He told me that Quality Marine distributes it locally. So any lfs that you know of that shops wholesale there should be able to get it for you.
