Anybody have Atlantic carpets?

Costa reefing

Ive seen a few of these around where i live and got curious about them. From what I understand they are very aggressive and do not host clowns. From the ones that i have seen they sort of looked liked bleached haddonis in terms of how the tentacles look but are very small usually 3-5in across. I think once they color up they could have a lot of potential and be real lookers.

Does anybody have any experience with them? Do they really catch fish like those lanterns catch flies? How is their sting and how do they do with other corals?

All comments are welcome
Thanks!

I don't have this one anymore as it was a mis-ship from LA. But here is a pic.

IMHO, this animal should be left in the ocean, or kept in a species tank. It does not play well with others. I keep haddoni and gigantea "carpets" and they are nothing compared to heliantus. They named this animal well, because it is a beast straight out of the bowels of hell. They don't color up either. They are a tan color even at the peak of health.

hmmm, i was thinking a species tank with the nem hosting a shrimp or crab. Doesn't seem worth it though.

A couple of S.tapetum with sexy shrimp would be much cooler

The Maxi-Mini's have much more color, and are much safer with other critters. That is a much better choice IMHO.

This are sticky, evil creatures, and as elegance coral stated, better kept in a dedicated tank. They "can" host a clarkii, but they can eat one, too. My Atlantic carpet would burn me when I touched it.

I will post better pic tomorrow harvest from fort lauderdale,Fl
