Anybody out there collect weird anemones?

I've got several clones of this one. One of my RBTA's just wandered up into the "weird anemone field" and isn't looking too great at the moment....so maybe it's time to thin the herd. They range in size from 2" to over 6" in diameter. They aren't always balooned out like the photo, about half the time the green part is flat. I'll sell the smaller ones for $5, medium for $10 or will trade for any interesting frags....I've got an sps tank and a softie/lps tank so I'm interested in most colorful frags.....come and get 'em...

What is that one called?

I call it Martha...it's tenticles remind me of my late Grandma's hair....:D

Seriously, I don't really know what it's called....I've seen similar, but without the curly tenticles...I've had folks call it a rock anemone and a curli-q anemone....but I've never seen a rock anemone with curly tenticles and I've never seen a curly-q anemone anywhere near as large as these get.

Interesting,
I don't suppose a clowns ever hosted in it?

Steve

Steve,
No, mine never have, but they've got a very large LTA, 2 RBTA's and another rose anemone of some kind to host in . Mine are Tomato clowns. I don't know if they would host if there were no other choices, or if they were another species of clown.

Nobody?

They really are quite attractive......I can give away a couple of the small ones for free....or trade for a small frag of anything. I'd hate to start tossing these in the trash, but I've decided that I've got a few too many.

I can easily get 3 or 4 of the smaller ones removed from the rocks....
LAST CHANCE FOR FREE....or sometime this weekend they will be given to the LFS...of flushed.

I think they are pretty . I could offer a colorful zoa frag in exchange for whatever you were planning to toss . when and where would they be available for pick-up ? thanks

I think they are pretty as well....That's why I bought the first one. Best I can tell, I've got 9 of them now (over 2 or 3 years). If you'd like 3 or 4 of them, all you need do is come and get them....no need for any trade. The tough part is that I'm in Joliet....which is a little ways from Wonder Lake. As of right now, I'm not working at all this weekend, nor do I have any other plans. If you'd like to make the trip down, LMK and I can pm you the address and we'll work out a time.
