Okay I did some reading and I think I found it! I found where you use the manual focus without the auto focus kicking in. It is the Safety MF setting, turn this off and it should stay focused in manually. I haven't tried it yet but hopefully this takes care of it.
Edit - Just tried it, and yes this takes care of that annoying problem that was the only thing that bugged me. Hit the menu button and scroll down to the Safety MF setting and turn it off!

Bought it from Amazon and it came with a free lens adapter! I already had one...but I bought it seperately when I bought the 250 lens...I guess I have a spare now.
