Anyone ever consider a NSW business?

Here in NY I have access to gulf stream waters roughly 80 miles out. When I would do overnight tuna fishing trips, I used to fill 5 gallon jugs to bring home for a water change. Salinity was approximately 1.026. I noticed immediate feeding response from LPS but SPS looked the same to me. It's been a long time since I've done this, and I'm not sure if I have the nerve to do it in a tank full of SPS again :)

The Gulf Stream comes right to our shores on the south shore which is the reason that we can collect tropical fish this time of the year.

While I agree that you will see all kinds of critters migrate and disperse all over from the gulf stream, water collected from shore is not true gulf stream water. It has been mixed with the local waters along the shores. I don't think that I have to explain how cobalt blue water with 50ft-100ft visibility is different than any water along any NY shoreline.

The water is the same, it's just the muck that we add to that cobalt blue water that screws it up. :fun2:
