I have 2 chocolate chip starfish. A reddish one and blackish one.I was wondering if anyone has been able to divide them in a home aquarium and double them?Even if it took months to divide into two seperate sea stars I think it would be cool and would probably be tradable. Is it rare, easy, what? thanks

It can be done with stars like this but it requires very good tank conditions and lots of feeding. I would set up a tank specifically for this purpose, however, it would take many months to work. You would cut them in half with a box cutter or other sharp knife....and feed feed feed. Even then, it may not work.
