Anyone feed Oyster Feast?

Cool deal. I'm going to be a feeding machine now! I'm going to alternate between Reef Roids, Reef Chili, AcroPower and Oyster Feast!

+1 on the Reef Chili and Reef Roids. I been vodka dosing over 2 years now and notice I able to feed a everyday because of it.
I tried OF but didn't notice many SPS reacting to it.
Add AcroPower 2 mo ago and that made a huge diff in color and growth rate.

Nah - I dump maybe 3 teaspoons each of oyster and roti feast in my 75 gal tank every other day or so, sometimes every day and haven't had any issues from day one.

Now acro power on the other hand....

Nice research article on artificial coral foods:

Also good talk by Thales on Phosphates:

I'm about to start with some coral frenzy, since I can get it on amazon prime.

We sponsored that study, in the sense we sent all those products to them. Given how long ago it was, the Oyster product used was the Oyster Eggs from DT's Plankton Farm.

If you want to read some good articles on coral nutrition and feeding, seek out anything by Dr Tim Wijgerde (http://www.coralscience.org/main/):

What kind of issues did you see with AcroPower? Thus far I have nothing but positive things to say about it after 6 months of use, but I haven't looked around to see what others experiences have been with it.

Do you dose the recommended amount? Do you dose it weekly or daily? What positive things have you experienced. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Nothing major. I do see a little cyano on parts of the sand bed if I use acropower daily. It doesn't present enough of an issue though to stop me from using it.

Hmmm I'll answer when you use your old awesome 5 gallon jug avatar...

Daily for the most part. Mainly color and polyp extension, and believe it or not, the best example is a toadstool, not SPS. It wasn't growing what so ever, now its growing and the polyps are 2x the length. FWIW its not your common/average toadstool.

What's an east coaster doing over "here"?

I placed my computer on the west side of my house to post that.
I also have been to wine country many times, I even spoke there.
