I've been working hard to get the cyano off the sandbed. I was removing the top layer at each wc, but eventually new sand has be replenished starting another cycle. Now I stop replacing the sand and look for another way.
So far its mildlysuccessful by adding 5 nassarius snails, diamond goby and a sand starfish.
Just wondering if anyone had experience with the bioclean from prodibio and comment on their effectiveness on eliminating the red-brown stuff on the sandbed.
My objective is to avoid adding chemical and hoprfully find a bio solution. This product seems like it can do the job.
Comments and other suggestions?
