Anyone have a 125 AGA RR tank?

Im about to buy one with the Modern Series stand. Does anyone have the canopy? I want to hang the light over the tank not in the hood. Will the braces block it also the back braces seem big compare to the oceanic. Anyone have one that can give me info?

I have a AGA 125 and like it. I have 3 250 watt HQI over it and the braces are not a issue for me with their postion I hardle notice them shadowing the light. IMO its been a great tank but I did get my 180 AGA in today.

MRCORAL if you are buying a modern series please make sure you know what you are getting their new line just came out and it is not the same, try to buy one in a store that has been sitting for a while, to make a long story short, the new one is compressed wood with some kind of "wood colored" vinyl or mica type material an the old model is real wood, you can also tell by the way the canopy opens, they changed the design. just ask who ever is selling it to you. JMO

the new ones are 100% SOLID WOOD. Where do people get there information? A customer of ours just purchased a the modern series 180 stand/canopy and its solid MAPLE.

How is that Canopy is it going to be ok to hang a light over it? What I do is take the top off.

No I do not have a canopy, I like open top tanks. My lights are hung by 4 x4 wood, leaving my tank open. Also I know 2 people who purchased 120 AGA tank in the last two weeks and both have real wood cabinets.
