A guy there sold an orange zoanthid to a buyer and he said it was a very hardy coral. When I look at the bag it was not a zoa. It was a sun coral -- not easy to take care.

:D

once again, if you (lucky gold fish) don't stop flagging other listings, I myself and MANY other craiglist users will take immediate actions.

the first thing that we will do is FLAG all of your listings, which we really don't want to, but if you keep pushing it, we have no other choice but do so.

Lastly, we really don't have to take unnecessary steps with YOUR ACCOUNT.

So please stop what you're doing. Respect the terms & rules of craigslist and let everyone enjoy this great system.

i notice their prices are going up and it's pretty much the same like other local fish store. they say that their prices are wholsale prices open to the public, but those are not wholesale price in any way(pair clown $150, pair of flame $180???) please

i went there a few weeks ago and i was met with pretty bad customer service

when a store isn't busy, how long does it usually take for someone to ask if you need help or something like that....not too long

at this place, no one talked to me the entire time i was there..

and yea, i didn't think their prices were any cheaper..

I dropped the store last week on my way home from work. The fish seemed to be in fair health, but corals/clams looked absolutely horrible. The two new "display" tanks they setup had ridiculously cloudy water, all clams were gaping and corals were literally melting off of their rocks. Furthermore, no one came and asked me if I needed any help. I'm all for low prices, but the recent trip's convinced me not to shop there anymore.

hehehe.. they won't come and ask if you need help. They don't even bag the stuff for you. You have to bag the stuff you want. That was what the guy there told me when I wanted some cleaner shrimps. He gave me the net and some bags and told me to get them myself :D .. I haven't go there for a while. I know their price went up. There is no way they can survise if they keep selling stuff that low.

Maybe they're trying to keep that "wholesale" atmosphere? lol

Amazing that they'd even trust anyone other than their employees to catch and bag their own stuff.

You had to bag your own stuff?! wow

actually, I think it is better for you to bag your own. IMO, their live stocks can't be priced over $20. They have a few guys helping them out to price their LS, and I overheard that they are compared their LS to AG ( no kidding...LOL...that AG in Milpitas) :D

And more, they going to open a pets store accross from a street. They going to carry birds/dogs/cats.

I went there this weekend and bought some fish. They have extra people to bag stuff for you now. I think they ask you to bag your own before because they didn't have any extra help. But still, the prices are average. Some are high some are low.

I got this clam for 20 bucks there, its like 5" long

The Blue tang my roomate got from there ended up having ICH and giving it to our whole tank :o( We quarantined all the fish but unfortunately lost my yellow headed sleeper goby and the blue tang. At least we learned our lesson to quarantine all new arivals now.

I bought some snails and cleaner shrimp there and still very healthy but as far as fish goes, I would never buy from there anymore. If you're a newbie, please don't go there for livestocks. They basically say yes to anything to make a sale. Feel really bad for all the hippo tangs they used to have and now they just got a new shipment of yellow tangs. Most of them started to turn pink due to water condition. If you're buying saltwater fish there, you are risking the life of your current livestock in your tank. I've learned my lesson buying fish there just because I want to save a few $. Definitely not worth it!
