Anyone ID this anemone?

I got it as a 'Borneman's" anemone, but there seems to be some debate in the "Lets see those anemones' thread.

I can take pics of any parts necessary.

Yeah, those are sometimes called Borneman's anemone. They are in the Phymanthus genus orginating from Indonesia. You can search Phymanthus and find more info. They are sometimes referred to as the frilly anemone as well. That is not the hellfire anemone.

Phymanthus in appearance, but might not be "bornemans".

Mine were always attached to rock and I don't recall any of mine having concurrent tentacle rings. All of mine had colored veruccae on the column, purple dots in rings on the oral disk, green oral disk, and purple/brown hue to the tentacles.

The specimen in this thread shows characteristics akin to the frilly anemone pictures you linked. Thanks for the link.

The specimen depicted in the first post of the thread I linked, matches what Eric B gave to Michael formerly in DC, which spread throughout the area, aka Borneman Anemones. An old pic of some of mine hosting a pair of clowns:

In my humble opinion, same genus(Phymanthus), different species(something else and "borneman") based on visual and behavioral characteristics.

I agree that mine definitely differs from the anemone in the link and from the ones in Scott's pictures. I think he's right, in that it is a Phymanthus, but probably not a 'Bornemans'. I guess it's a 'Hurst' anemone now :)
