Anyone in the Tampa area REALLY good with Apex?

Arn't you the same guy that saw my other thread and suggested I come over here to post the question? LOL... It this bait and switch or something???:)

I want to bribe someone with an offer for free lunch or something and then come to my house in Tampa and take a look at my 2 500 gallon tanks and give me some tips on the the neptune apex gear I have set up.... This stuff does so much and I have barely tapped its potential and quite frankly I have so many plates in the air I dont have the time to research it.

Well I'm interested in checking out your tanks. I have an apex but I don't use all the bells and whistles. If u have an idea what u need help with I can let u know if I can help.
Either way would love to check out the tanks
Roger

Yep - I am the same guy. No Bait and switch :) This is a great community with many who are willing to help - figured it would be to your benefit.

How cool would it be if we had a local APEX CLUB. First meeting to be held at my house. We can each bring our own knowledge to the table. Apex potential is amazing IMO

Learn how to use virtual outlets. Opens up a whole new controller for you.

Please explain....

Maybe we can get a bunch of locals together and get the APEX guys to come down and do seminar! LOL

I have everything up and running....but I am looking for better programmable control. I would like to add some overflow detection (I have leak detection set up).... also what other things can be done outside of the scope of what apex has like how to program and make my RO/DO unit to produce new water when it gets to a certain point, using float valves.... etc....

Tough for me to explain without doing but virtual outlets act just like physical outlets. Test something and turn something off or on. Reference that virtual outlet inside a physical outlet to create ands and ors.

Overflow protection seems like you would use a float to turn off your main pump if the float floats?

that would not be difficult to do. You would just need a breakout box and float switches. Set the top switch to turn off euro system set the bottom switch to turn on you would obviously need electronic valves

There are real examples of what you are possibly looking for in the reference manual. If you haven't read it from cover to cover you really should. It's a very useful tool.

i have one and don't have any idea how to use it or set it up so if someone knows how i would love some help setting mine up to if anyone knows how.
