Just wondering if the elevated CO2 would help the macros in the fuge. I know you add CO2 to a freshwater planted tank.
Would the PH drop too much?
I am setting up a new tank and put some Cheato in my fuge. The tank and fuge only have sand and a few mangroves now, and the Cheato grew well for a while and then died back (turned mostly white and is disolving). I assume due to lack of nutrients, even though I put some flake food in the fuge.
When I get the live rock, I'll add some more healthy Cheato, but don't know if I should output my Calk reactor into the sump or the fuge.
Thanks.
Adam
